Services

Our service charter is informed by three key pillars thus:

We support states and institutions navigating political transition and post-conflict reconstruction.

Core Services

Based on the need to address transition to democracy and good governance, Trans-Link Advisory offers consultant based services on Transitional Challenges, Re- source-based Conflicts and Strategic Communications.

Resource Based Conflict The inherent tension which has occasioned perennial

conflict among communities in the Horn of Africa is dramatically taking a new twist given the emergence of new factors of conflicts. Whereas the notable indicators such as water and grazing fields still dominate the headlines, the heightened prospecting and possible discovery of oil in the Horn is set to change the tide of the conflict and could further destabilize the region. The same however presents opportunities for exponential growth. At Trans-Link Advisory, we endeavor to support communities and government map out potential conflict and advice on practical solutions. This includes and not limited to policy formulation, setting up legal frameworks for resource sharing, and capacity development of local communities to participate in the process right from the start.

Strategic Communications

he critical role of the media and all players in the information super- highway in transition processes cannot be gainsaid. In the intervening periods of conflict in Somalia, public communication was largely manipulated to foster conflict and tension among worrying factions hence a loss of public trust and furtherance of suspicion. There is therefore a clarion call for confidence building through effective communication structures.
